Add some chicken stock while cooking, and then a little ranch dressing when done!

Morning all-yeah Kats is back! Hey what's brim?

Okay after a day of prep we're soon off for the test (MWBW-Mayo's an option we're holding open). I'm not even hungry after my "solidarity-no food nite". Of course while he drank that Gatorade gunk I had Smirnoff-a girl's gotta have something.

Tonight I'll make his very fave linguine w/white clam sauce, garlic bread and salad.

Leftover spaghetti with onions, carrots, chicken breast and Asia seasoning will be my lunch.
Anyhoo' I'm also in the mood for a big bowl of salad.

Well will be cooking tomorrow's lunch tonight:
drum sticks with carrots and potatoes. Comfort food for the grey weather.

The best of luck today Lacey for Mr. L. He will enjoy tonights dinner for sure!
It looks like the thread jumped into part 1V with no problems. Whew.....I was hoping I did everything right! And I will join Jaxson in thanking SMG one more time for taking such good care of us! Thank you!!
Don't feel alone Baseballgirl---I am not a big foodie and "I" started this thread! Ha! I wanted to get more interested in foods and cooking and find more interesting ideas for meals for my DH to be honest and I found all of that plus some of the most caring, wonderful people around. It's been a win-win situation for me! You see here we obviously talk about food but we also have gotten to know each other and we share and stand by each other through good and bad times! It really is like sitting at a dining room table with the best of friends! Welcome!!
Dinner is not even a thought yet----need more coffee!

Anyway good morning all...last night was gorgonzola burgers with mushrooms and onions. Didn't need a side.

Today we are invited to our daughter's for dinner. I think it is eggplant parm.

Mr. L Good Luck.
Welcome back Kat. The rest of the posts I have to catch up on.

Thanks Baseballgal! I can't wait to try your pot pie.. but I have to because of this pesky diet.

I did really well yesterday and walked over 4 miles & tonight we're doing 3.5 to the post office and back (have I mentioned how much I love google maps walking directions as a motivational tool?) so to celebrate when we get back we are going to light up the good old Weber again.

Those chicken breasts have now been marinating in their olive oil, parsley, garlic, etc. bath for two days, and I've got some ground turkey to make into burgers as well. Hummus, matzah, & carrot stick lunch to prep for this revelry.
