Hi my little foodie friends I've missed you we had a family death so I haven't cooked for about 5 days. Ate lots of food others brought in though to many to mention.
Tonight I have been requested to make sausage gravy & biscuits. We've had a lot of fried chicken and cold cut trays so none of that for awhile around here.
We always do it the other way round: I'll cook in the evenings to take something to work and eat light in the evenings.
Today will be the zucchini cream sauce over spaghetti for lunch and dinner will be salad.

Ah Jax, so sorry about the sad news. You have been missed!
My DH is always talking about sausage gravy & biscuits but I haven't any idea how to make them...care to share?
Last night was simple--Pierogies with red sauce, sliced cucumbers with dip and garlic toast. Tongiht will be baked ckicken marinated in soy sauce, mashed potatoes and of course more sliced squash with onions and salsa. My neighbors gave us some of their tomatoes (ours aren't quite ripe yet) so we'll have those sliced on the side!
Turkey steaks were on special so I bought some, flattened them a bit, breaded them with Panko & pan-fried them. Served with a salad of baby mesclun and baby spinach with an orange vinaigrette dressing.
Hmmm...I`m not sure yet. Probably left over hot dogs and hamburgers.
