And that's just the Cultural District, not even including the museums. They are all either equal or better than what you have in Fair Park, which does have good examples of Art Deco, but it's not THE greatest example.

Both you and Jim are giving irrational, biased opinions, really. I'm just being honest here.
Seriously! That's the best Fort Worth has?

I'm saying. The architecture in Fair Park is worthy of it's national historic landmark designation.

Look, I'm not expecting you two to see it that way. You're both biased to your opinions and it shows CONSTANTLY here, but yes, I see those as equal to or greater than what Fair Park has. And you're ONLY asking for Art Deco. That's not the only style that exists here, ya know...

The Kimbell Museum by Louis I. Kahn has often been claimed to be the best designed building built in the Western Hemisphere in the last sixty years. So, you are really talking about a collection of buildings in Dallas versus one that is a classic centerpiece in Fort Worth. Fort Worth has the better zoo and the better downtown. I can remember more than twenty years ago Kevin McCarthy sitting out on the streets of downtown Fort Worth while a talk show host at KLIF commenting about how lots of people were actually out walking around very much unlike how it was in downtown Dallas. In Texas, the city of Fort Worth got it all started in terms of renewal of its core.

AT&T where the Cowboys play is in the Fort Worth-Arlington area/metro just as the old Cowboys stadium was in the Dallas-Plano-Irving area/metro.

I'd rather have a group of architecturally significant buildings than one. Dallas has a better shopping, public transportation, urban districts, etc.

There's numerous projects going on in the urban core....

some of the projects

In the Victory Park area, 1,500 apartment units are under construction.
Farmers Market area is totally being redeveloped
267 unit apartment project will be built in Downtown's West End
Urban Whole Foods store with apartments on the top in Uptown Dallas
Hall Arts Center is under construction in Downtown (16 story office building)
Richards Group new HQ in Uptown Dallas
Frost Tower in Uptown Dallas (22 story office building)
