Lettuce and snow peas. In a salad with lime dressing. That's lime juice, salt and rice wine vinegar. Jazzed I got peas.

At present we are enjoying chive blossoms in our salads. They're lovely little purple balls with a mild onion flavor. Such a treat as we only have them once a year.

My oregano is thriving and its leaves are enormous. Now is the time to harvest it in the cool of the morning before the weather gets hot and dry.

Anyone who has ever gone through the painstaking task of harvesting oregano leaves and drying them will appreciate why I am glad to have such large leaves available at present.

Radishes! I was able to harvest a dozen radishes this morning. More to come. There are also some tiny snow peas, but I'll let them keep growing.

Ooh this sounds yummy. I'm growing oregano for the first time this year. It was struggling too much with the lack of rain, so I haven't eaten it yet. Can't wait until it gets going.

Today started the bounty of fruit! Maybe 5 serviceberries and 4-5 mulberries. This is the second year the serviceberry shrubs have started to produce.

Lettuce, spinach, Kale, edible pod peas. The tomatoes are still green but well ahead of past years, at the size of walnuts already.

What tomatoes already! As usual LOL mine are still babies. Lettuce and snow peas for a salad yesterday ( sauteed the snow peas). Today a handful of serviceberries and some chard and the last of the kale in a smoothie.

Today was snow peas, green beans, and our first squash! Butter spray, salt, pepper, and on the grill they went. Yum!

Wow way to go NC. In my garden the squash are just peeking up through the soil. I had chard, snow peas and lettuce in a salad.
