I picked a few more tomatoes, a red bell, and a couple of mini cukes. Of course I have as many herbs as I want, but my rosemary just isn't doing as well as I wish it would. I use so much of it.

I harvested an almost 2lb Cocozella squash that apparently grew in less than a day (it's amazing how invisible they are when they're right in front of you!) and another Eightball zucchini. It's shocking how delicious a fresh squash from the garden is.

I hear you Nickman. We have frozen 10 to 15 pounds of tomatoes, with another 6 pounds to go from yesterday!

Today I harvested a quart of green beans, 1/2 quart of wax beans, one red tomato, and 4 green peppers. I've been getting about this much for the pass few weeks when I harvest every other day.

I picked my first carrots today, got a few tomatoes out of the hothouse, a cucumber and enough lettuce for two salads.

Well, it is more like what did the farmers market feed us today? We went very early, to our small local one; we got peaches that were picked yesterday; they were pricy (we got 6 for $5) we got 2 dozen free range eggs, @2.50 a dozen and a huge bag of green beans for $3 plus a couple of bells for .50 each. We also got 2 squash from a friend: one is a winter type, the other an oversized zuke that I will use for stuffing. last but not least yesterday, in our garden I picked about 6 tomatoes, a few peppers and lots of herbs.

I picked(more) tomatoes today. But they are not looking very good. I finally have a zucchini. I have nice blooms, but that's where it ends. But it has been VERY humid. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Just finished washing and sorting another 5 various squash and more than 150 various peppers. Both the squash and peppers have just been tearing it up so far this season. Just waiting for the tomatoes to begin ripening and cucumbers to get bigger and I should be harvesting enough for multiple fresh meals every day with enough left to preserve. Awesome time of year!

Well here in Fort Worth, Texas Our Family Garden hasn't been producing many vegetables here as it has been very hot the last 2 weeks and this is technically one of the drier times of year for this portion of Texas, but I have to say we had food for thought and did lots of pulling weeds down here, and still are deciding on whether we will plant either a Fig or an Olive Tree, I know either would do reasonably well in this climate, so no food to eat or pick because it is the dead of summer in Fort Worth.

Now that the Kale, Lettuce, Spinach and peas have finished, we're just getting tomatoes and greenbeans. None of the cucumbers, eggplant or squash have matured yet. I must say, adding the bone meal to the tomatoes has definitely made a difference, they are now 7' tall and hitting the top of the greenhouse.
