I vote for redrawing all the north south border states, VA, KY, MO, OK TX and FL, that way maybe all the bickering about whether this place or that place is southern goes away.
I say we put Memphis in MS. Then give little pieces of WV to OH and MD just to make their borders less odd looking.
I'm torn on MI, it makes sense to make it a state on it's own or add it to WI, but that means MI would be losing the best part of the state IMO.

Michigan.......I'd separate the Upper peninsula from the rest of the state.

I would redraw Missouri and give the part jutting into Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and Arkansas, entirely to Arkansas. I would take the part of Northern Illinois on the latitude of Lake Michigan and give that to Wisconsin, as it really is nothing like the rest of the state. I might give the Northern panhandle of West Virginia to Pennsylvania. And maybe the Panhandle of Texas to Oklahoma. So many different states I could redraw. However, i think in general that the boundaries of most states are fairly satisfactory.

Most of that's been resolved already. MO has been considered Midwestern at least since the end of the 19th century...KY has been considered Southern since the Civil War ended. Florida is undebatably southern, Oklahoma and TExas are pretty much the same.

I think California and the District of Columbia should be combined.

Why on Earth would Texas' borders need to be re-drawn?

Are people really THAT jealous of us having such a large swath of land area we call the "Great State of Texas"?

Are people really THAT jealous of our growing economy they want a piece of the pie too?

We might as well be our own country...we used to be. Us Texans want for not. Everything is here already & would last us the next 1,000 years if we were on our own again.

Texas has 3 of the top 10 largest US cities (more than California) & one of the highest grossing economy's in the World today.

Many South Floridians don't agree with you. And NORTHERN Texas and Southern Oklahoma are the only parts of the 2 states that are the same. Houston, nor Austin, nor SA are anything like Oklahoma(especially Houston).

All those little states(especially in NE) that all look the same and who's residents talk the same and share the same sports teams, being combined into 1 state seems more logical than dividing the gigantic ones.
