Here's a question I have: don't tell me there are more Waffle Houses in the state of Georgia than there are McDonald's?

It's ironic that there's one directly one north of me.

The first Waffle House I went to was in Hagerstown, MD and I thought it was pretty good. There are 2 nearby where I live in Pennsylvania and I go there time to time when I want something different. It's more like a gulity pleasure.

I guess a northeastern comparison would be Dunkin Donuts. They are very well represented all over Massachusetts and New England.

Oh, big time! The only two story Dunkin Donuts (complete with double drive-through) I've ever seen was outside of Boston.

There are 3 alone in my town of ~20,000. Even more just outside my town in nearby ones.

It's not a big deal. Waffle House has always been a DINER! They are very compact and efficient perfectly suited for urban locales.

Now enjoying my to-go Double Scattered Smothered Covered Chunked and Diced from the comfort of my own couch watching "Family Guy" on the DVR ...

I really do feel sorry for people who don't know what they're missing without Waffle House

Huddle House FTW. Vastly superior to Waffle House, but not always open 24 hours (I don't think), so loses points on the long drunk night out scale.
