D.C. was not the intent as I was looking for a city that resides in a state, not a district! Sorry for the ambiguity.

I think you meant Laughlin, Kidphilly, and technically this is correct, except I think the western part of that city is unincorporated, but the boundaries do in fact show a polygonal border touching both Arizona and California. Good call.

However, I was thinking of another city.

Is it Harper's Ferry, WV? It's between Virginia and Maryland isn't it?

Actually, they are not the equivalent to county-line signs, they are county-line signs. When you enter the Bronx from Westchester, the sign says "Entering Bronx County".

There are quite a few cities and towns that border on two states. The only ones I can find that have land (not river) borders on two states are the adjacent Pownal, Vermont and Williamstown, Mass., which both touch the state of New York, as well as eachother. The biggest ones that touch two states ae Memphis and Sioux City.

An obvious guess would be Hancock, Maryland, but their city limits stops about 200 yards short of the Pennsylvania line.
