Here in central Ohio, we have not yet had ANY snow accumulation whatsoever. I am very surprised. There were only maybe two times when it was flurrying, but that's it. No snow at all so far this year.

Started snowing yesterday in CO Spirngs. Been snowing all day today and relatively cold. Unusual for us that we've had snow on the ground for the last few weeks that hasn't melted. So far, a fairly "cool" season. Come on spring!

Winter sucks. 75 degrees on Christmas Eve totally sucked. Ugh.

No snow yet. Some sleet, some ice/hail, some flurries, but no accumulation. I'm waiting.

It's only finally started to get cold. High was like 23 for a few days earlier this week, with wind chill felt like 14-ish. The river/ponds in my town started to freeze over, but it's now in the 40s again so the ice is melting already. Ups and downs this winter.

Snowing again. Snow from last storm never finished melting, it never even really tried.

4-6" total by the end of this one.

It's very early to tell, but apparently a potentially big storm may be heading our way next weekend. They're saying feet of snow may fall (1.5-3 I assume). It would be our first snowfall of the season in the NYC area. We've seen flakes, sleet, and ice, but it hasn't stuck to accumulate anything significant. This winter, storms and cold are hitting at opposite times, so we haven't had the right conditions yet. We've had tons of rain when the temp is above 40 only for it to be 25 degrees for the next 3 days, so the temp and storms aren't coming together like they should. We'd have a good amount of snow on the ground already if they had. Hopefully next weekend we'll finally see something!

Our January 2016 has been rainy, windy, and cloudy. It's supposed to be our dry season.

Our December 2015 had over 10 inches of rain, but still plenty of nice sunny and warm (85 ish) days. This January even when it's not raining, or raining very little is still cloudy, windy, and cool (75 ish). Not liking it. Hopefully, February will be more like December was.

Actually it's snowing right now. I didn't know this was going to happen today. We're only supposed to get 1-2 inches though, but I'm seeing accumulation for the first time this season.
