I agree, all of those cities have beautiful settings.

The reason I give SLC the nudge is because it's also a very clean city. There are no slums in SLC and very few public housing projects. There aren't many homeless, there are very few empty buildings (I honestly can't remember seeing any), the streets are clean, and there seems to be a lot more pride in the appearance of the city than in most other places.

I don't know if the city itself is the most beautiful, but I can certainly tell you that driving thru the mountains (from the direction I was traveling), looking down on the city of Pittsburg with its Three Rivers, unique bridges and a beautiful NFL football statium all converging in full view is SPECTACULAR.

wow people are actually saying cities are beautiful because they have a nice backdrop? Wow i was only talking about the city themselves. In that case, Charleston, Boston, New York, Baltimore, DC, etc are not beautiful because they do not have hills or mountains

NY definitely has hills and palisades outside the city, and theyre beautiful!

yes, i know , Every city i listed has hills, they just don't have mountains right there like the western cities or are known for their hills
