What is with all the Houstonians on this board trying to sell their city in every thread they make? There is nothing wrong with being proud of where you live but give everyone else a break please......
Good point. I'm from Texas and I get sick of the constant begging for attention from Houston people.
I don't think its selling the city, its just being proud of the city and the developments houston has came along with and I could careless what anyone say but houston is hands down the best city in texas, and very underrated but not too underrated with the 4th largest pop in the country so can't be that off the radar, esp with all the people flocking here.

And people from other cities don't do that?
Someone posts a thread saying "looking for an affordable place with great schools thats conservative" and some people from NYC or SF mention their cities
Since Houston fits the criteria of many peoples questions it only makes sense that we would mention it right?
If you have a problem with us doing it at least say you have a problem with most other cities doing it, otherwise it looks like it is personal against Houston
I have to go vist Houston again it looks so pretty. In Houston the city has trees Dallas has hardly any trees at all.I have to come here later this year.
Ok, the thread has run it's course, and it's Houston-specific, not General U.S. Moving it will just get it deleted in the Texas rooms as it's a commonly discussed theme there.
