Looks like the Myrtle Beach locations and all of the NC locations still open. Has Greenville just given up on eating out?
There is always the old S&S on Pleasantburg. S&S used to have a second location in Haywood Mall.

Sometimes I feel like Greenville has too many restaurants. Can’t think of too many metro areas our size that have over 100 restaurants just in their downtown area. How they all stay in business baffles me.

True. K&W was pretty good though and always busy at Lunch and Dinner. It was there for at least 25 years.
The location was always a little odd to me. Kind of tucked away between Haywood and Woodruff instead of being directly on a major street or in a shopping center I often did not think of it.

I feel really bad for the senior citizens that went there. It wasn't just a place to eat but a place to socialize for them.

The location was appealing, especially for senior citizens. They did not have to get on a busy road or worry about sharing parking in a shopping center. I don't eat buffets or cafeteria style food, but passed by there often. It was always crowded. I am suprised it closed. I assume it's another victim of the virus.

They had a separate takeout section and the food is shielded by a petition and was not self serve like a buffet. I would feel safer eating in a cafeteria vs a buffet.

Nice building. Maybe someone else like S&S will pick that location up. Aren't the county offices moving in across the street? They stood to gain even more business.

I wonder if someone has purchased that corner property?

That is a possibility. The land next door has been cleared.
