It seems like demand for downtown high rise office space may decrease at least in the near future nationally. One thing that has been accelerated from this year's events is the move for more people to work remotely, and that will have an impact on the need for physical office space.

I guess we'll see. You have things like Camperdown that is under construction, and they are in the planning stages of a downtown conference center and hotel that is supposed to have some height.

Finally: https://greenvillejournal.com/commun...in-mauldin-sc/ The governor even attended the groundbreaking this morning. Renderings and site plan for phase 1: http://greenvillejournal.com/wp-cont...ng-package.pdf

Now that vision is clear: more than 450,000 square feet of new development, including retail, restaurants, office space, multifamily residential, and event space, along with a pedestrian bridge over the highway.

Designed to emulate “old-world architecture,” the development is expected to bring more than 1,000 new jobs to Mauldin within the first phase alone, with an anticipated completion date of Q4 2022.
