Their frozen custard wasn't as good as Abbott's IMHO.

My friend will be thrilled that PE is coming to town!!!

That is good news regarding the Panda Express which I have been wanting for a long time. Hopefully that location will be OK, but Jack in the Box and Freddy's did not make it there.

I do agree Freddy's was too pricey. But I am not a fan of Cook-Out either. Other than their shakes, I do not think their food is very good. I just don't quite understand all the hype for Cook-Out. Personally I preferred Checkers a lot better and I wish they would return. And I also like Culver's better than Freddy's.

I don't really care for french fries (or fast food in general), but I use to love to get the Checker's/Rally's fries when I lived in SoFla once in a while. It's nice they have them in the grocery store now, so when I have a hankering, they're available.

Nor did Del's Twisted Kitchen or Metro Burger.

Who? Never heard of them. No wonder. LOL.

Freddy's hasn't closed as of last night. Looked like they were still open. Bids for Panda are out however.

Metro Burger opened in 2012, and the owners rebranded to Del's Twisted Kitchen the following year. It closed its doors in early 2014. I kept meaning to try both of 'em out but never got around to it.

Seeing what's happening now, it's kinda funny seeing this post from 5 years ago:

I checked out Tipsy Taco today. I liked the food and the atmosphere. Much bigger space than I would have thought and a lot of tvs.

Italian restaurant coming to Clemson student housing

'Stonemont Financial Group, a real estate investment firm out of Atlanta, is preparing to include an Amici (pizza) restaurant franchise in its Plaza One89 student housing with 45 beds this fall. The two groups have come to an agreement to build 20 Amici restaurants throughout North and South Carolina with the first coming in time for football season this year.'
