I'm sure it will be a sideline to an existing (Chrysler?) dealership.
It wouldn't be that bad if they'd group them all towards the end of WH going towards Spartanburg. But to have them scattered, it's just too much, and then to have another one pop up when there's a empty dealership down there already, and D&D leaving their current location to build another, not to mention all the used car dealers going in to whatever location may be up for grabs...between the car dealers and the restaurants, WH could offer so much more than just that, car dealers and restaurants.
Fiat to build dealership on Wade Hampton Blvd in Greer. It will be their second location in SC. Bids go out February 20th.

Fiat owns a majority of Chrysler. If Fiat is looking to increase its presence in the United States and Canada, it may follow the footprint of select Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealerships. Benson operates the four Greer Chrysler dealerships.
Does anyone know whats coming next to Cheddars on Woodruff rd?
From what I understand (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the building going up between McDonald's and Cheddar's on Woodruff is going to be a Krispy Kreme.

Nothing against Krispy Kreme but it's definitely not that. This building is going to have six small retail/restaurant tenant spots within it. All of them being way too small for Krispy Kreme.

So, it's NOT going to be the upscale Mexican place that had been announced at about the same time as Cheddar's?

I think you're dead on, UpstateBooster. I've been waiting to see construction for that restaurant (help me out, was it "La Parilla" or something like that?) since it announced about 2 years ago. I haven't seen any rumors about Krispy Kreme going in until now, so I have my doubts.
Speaking of waiting on construction, how's that SuperPlay USA construction going?
