I hope it is a successful restaurant in the making. Eastgate Village has had a revolving door of failed restaurants for several years.
Speaking on Eastgate Village, it could use better tenants. When Winn Dixie store 1059 closed in 2000, Ingle's and Publix missed a great opportunity to move in. Pivotal Fitness does fill space. It could be more successful if it relocated to a larger location near Haywood Road or Woodruff Road.
I hope this is a dine-in pizza restaurant. This area of Taylors has lacked one for too long.
Mig's has multiple locations down Greenwood way. I know there's one in Greenwood, there's a restaurant that's owned by the same folks in Abbeville (In the OLD old Winn-Dixie building) and there's one in Laurens as well.
Garden Ridge rebranding their stores "At Home". Greenville store looks like it's undergoing the transformation with the new Blue and Gray color scheme and room displays in the store.

Decent enough place.
Being successful in the South Carolina lakelands, Mig's feels ready to try Greenville. I hope they do well.

The "At Home" was a new brand Garden Ridge started earlier this year. Thirteen At Home stores are open in Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina and Texas.
I wonder if the conversion from Garden Ridge to At Home is for stores that have not been performing well in recent years, or if the stores are successful to move to a better format.

Why would you want Pivotal Fitness to move? It's doing very well where it's at. It's a great gym w/ the best free weight area in Greenville. It's perfect for Taylors. It doesn't need to go anywhere.

Makes sense. Could never find the "garden" department in that store..unless you consider fake, plastic flowers from China.
I believe the chain originated from a pottery store in Garden Ridge, Texas. Hence the name. Does make more sense and the owners are simply trying to give it a new name that reflects who they are.
