Cool. I went to a Knicks game at MSG once. Nice arena.

Kings 3 @ Flyers 2 (SO).

Great way to start off the trip! The Kings actually never lead in the game as the Flyers scored first in both the 1st & the 3rd before the Kings tied it late in each period. Each team tallied a power play goal in the first: Shayne Gostisbehere put the Flyers on top, and with about 5 minutes left to play in the first McBain tied it up for the Kings on the power play. Teams were scoreless in the 2nd, Claude Giroux gave the Flyers the lead back midway through the 3rd, before Lucic tied the game and forced extra time with the tying goal in the final minutes. Teams were scoreless in the 3 on 3 overtime session, and Kopi scored the only goal of the shootout to give the Kings the 2 points! Quick got the win, he made 36 saves on 38 shots, while Steve Mason took the loss he stopped 38 shots on 40 attempts. Kopi got the first star, he got 0 goals and 0 assists, but the only goal of the shootout, Giroux for Philly was the second star. Along with his goal, he also had an assist on Gostisbehere's goal, and Gostisbehere was the 3rd star.

Kings back in action Friday night when they continue the road trip in Detroit against the Wings. Faceoff at 7:38 PM. Flyers host the Sharks tomorrow with a faceoff scheduled for 7:08 PM.

Kings 2 @ Wings 3.

I was out of town, so didn't get to watch/listen, so just going by what I remember seeing from the GCL notifications. I'll be out again tomorrow afternoon, so hopefully PDF can give us a happy recap from Raleigh as he'll be in attendance at the game.

I was wondering where your recap was. We were down 3-1, scored in the 2nd to make it 3-2, but neither team could do anything in the 3rd. I'll be happy to do a recap. Then I'm going to Tampa for Thanksgiving, so I'll be at that game too. Hell I could go to the Panthers game also, but that's not in the plans so far.

Not what I expected today. Hurricanes came to play. Both teams were even at 29 shots-on-goal, but Hurricanes won 4-3. We went down 3-0 early in the 2nd, until Dustin Brown came through for a score...and then Kopitar the same less than a minute later. Carolina would score to make it 4-2, and mid-way through the 3rd Kopitar came through again to make it 4-3...but we couldn't do anything. Even had a 6-on-4 opportunity for the final 18 seconds. Quick was pulled after two periods, and Enroth was perfect in the 3rd.

We go to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow for a matchup against the Panthers, and then to Tampa on Wednesday. Hopefully I get to see Quick against the Lightning.

Sure. I'm not able to go, I'd have to leave for FL tonight. But I'll definitely be at the Lightning game on Wednesday night.
