If it's something that can't be moved, you have to put down IMPERMEABLE drop cloths, not a sheet.
I live in a rowhome by myself. Can’t carry furniture by myself outside. But yea should have researched that before. Didn’t think of it. First paint project so I’m learning !

Yes....that sounds good.....maybe a chalk paint or milk paint?

Love the room. You had different window treatments originally, right?

Furniture sliders are invaluable for projects like this. At least you can move it to an area that has more suitable flooring, like a kitchen, on which to paint (with a dropcloth). I'm 70 and my house has older wood floors, so I use cushioned furniture sliders to move everything except the really big pieces. BTW, I'm about to paint a really scruffy old china cabinet, so I empathize with you. I have to glue some of the veneer down first and add some wood putty, but it will (hopefully) go from dark brown to white with red accents to coordinate with my vintage stove and enamel top table.

I love that color! I used it in a front hall and a bedroom. I simply love that color. Use some warm wood tones with it. That’s my advice. Your room looks very nice.

I do too ! It brightens up the room. Yay ! I actually ordered a medium wood tv stand and coffee table. Excited to see how it turns out.

Frankly I think every home owner ought to own at least one, preferably two, furniture dollies.

Default Wood color help

Hi - I am finishing up redoing my living room and had ordered a tv stand and coffee table 2 months ago. Still waiting but now I’m comparing the photos of colors of tables and wondering if I should change the coffee table stain. It can be customized. Attaching photos of colors next to each other for reference. Coffee table I am getting will be round though. Should I do a grayer coffee table ? Also attaching photos of the space. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
