Ended up doing light gray and it looks beautiful !! My kitchen has charcoal granite so figured would flow more. Now just need to figure out a coffee table and if I need a new rug.

Yep, that's gonna stain! Or you could reupholster it. Probably pretty simple to do yourself.

Hmm didn’t think of that but might as well do something more durable
considering my clumsiness and I have a toddler and cats.

Looks great and I love the light pink pillows because they provide a warm color against all the blues and grays. As for the ottoman, I don't know. I'd almost tend to go for a printed pattern of some kind or a dark color f drinks are going to be spilled on it and feet will rest on it, but I'm just trying to be practical.

Just remember, success in painting is 99.99% in the preparation.

Lol I already painted on sat. Drove all over looking for chalk paint. Ended up getting regular paint and hating color. Used my leftover wall paint samples instead and looks great ! Only mess up was using a sheet under and paint seeped through to wood floor Eeks. Luckily was able to scrub off.

When painting keep a bottle of goof off for paint around. Luckily wood floors are usually easy to scrub off paint. Not so for fabric. Goof off comes in handy for that.

Looks pretty

Don't paint stuff inside your house for crying out loud! Do it out on the driveway!

If it's something that can't be moved, you have to put down IMPERMEABLE drop cloths, not a sheet.
