So, it's almost cool outside. If it drops any lower I'm half expecting to see people breaking out the coats.

My family is LOVING this weather, although my young daughter insisted last week that she was cold and required a sweater. We laughed that she must be truly acclimated to Texas if she thinks 88 degrees is chilly.

Yep, she might as well be native-born.

I broke out the sweater last week. It's freezing this morning!

Oh you people

I WAS going to go to SA, then canceled the reservation on Wednesday. Then my parents freaked out on Thursday at noon and wanted EVERYONE in the family to go to DALLAS ASAP!! No arguments, kids, dogs and hamsters included.
So we all loaded on the plane with a paper bag of clothing, and after a near air disaster (yes a 747 was going to fly into us so we had to do a 4,000 ft nose dive. GOOD TIMES) we landed in Dallas for a week.

I did OD on Martinis though.

No power in the house during the second week, but the generator did fine. However, if the power lines aren't up you don't have internet.I've never talked on a cell, emailed via blackberry, so much in my life. I have sores on my fingers from little, tiny buttons and my eye sight is shot. However, other than very expensive tree cleanup and gutters, my homes are fine. Closing for the one in Briargrove is in three weeks and above asking price. WHOOOPIE!

I'm glad everyone here is ok.

So you didn't OD. Good. How's Jimi doing?

Seriously though, glad you're ok, that you survived that near-disaster in the skies and that you're back, EA.

What's all this friend request stuff? Why are people requesting? Is it necessary to be a friend to PM someone? I don't get it.

I think the West U police named it that to trick people and drive up ticket revenue :P

But you know, with all those potholes and bumps (especially around Braeswood) you don't really want to go any faster than 35.
