Hope you feel better.
Don't ask where white people live they will delete your thread because they think you are being racist.

I never did, nor would I. I asked about the Jewish population.

Dopo suggested i was using that question as a mask to screen for certain racial demographics. Take it up with him/her.

it could be culture (race), nationality, income, lifestyle, religion, etc, etc.

What is annoying is (1) People complaining about it (2) People creating BS threads because they think that they can't ask for areas with lots of white people.
Judaism is a religion, not an ethnicity or race. There are Jews of every color.

Even Sammy Davis Jr was jew, and the rapper Drake is jewish.

let's get something straight
I'm complaining about people that complain when a person opens a thread asking for help looking for a place where they can find a lot of "their people"

I get where you are coming from, but if you are in a very small minority group like orthodox Greeks, jews, Native American, Russians, Croatian, etc... You don't want your child to be the only one in their school. It's not about isolationism, or only wanting to be around similar people. It's about finding some similar people.

Larger minority groups are much more spread out in the Houston area, and you can find them in every suburb or neighborhood.

Edit...never mind... I just reread winters one post. You are saying it gets old that people complain about seeking similar people. :-)

Like most others have said, the neighborhoods off both N. and S. Braeswood, generally between Fondren (which is heavily orthodox but too close to crime-laden apartments, IMO) and about Kirby inside the loop. Zips (priciest to most affordable) are 77401, 77025, 77096, 77035. The public schools in the area (except for those close to Fondren) are generally good to very good and will reflect a decent amount of religious diversity--but not as much as the neighborhoods themselves since the Jewish-majority private schools are a big draw.

We live in Meyerland, and while we are not Jewish, there are probably 25% Jewish homes on my block (obviously a far greater percentage than the Houston population at large).

I have no idea about the suburbs, so what the others are saying makes sense. You will likely meet other Jews but be a very small minority.

What about Dairy Ashford? There is a JCC annex near I-10. What I heard is that is where a lot of the younger Jewish families moved when they abandoned Fondren Southwest in the 80s and 90s (while their parents stayed in Meyerland).
