Poor white people
they don't have any white neighborhood
Unlike black and Hispanic people that have those fancy gated communities to make sure that white people stay out of them #sarcasm

Look at that... lulz, hashtags and insults. Who would've guessed? And even when there's a website right here full of data.

When we're talking about Houston, not the burbs, what I say is completely true for middle to low class whites. I suggest someone use this website full of data to prove me wrong. It should be easy for you intellectually superior academicians who know everything.

Proving a negative is an incredible waste of time.

Yes, proving a fact is an incredible waste of time when it fuels a discussion no one wants to have.

Shall I add excuses to lulz, hashtags and insults? What else do you have? It's 2016... You people need to come up with something new.

What are you talking about?! Excuses for what? The question was:

There is no empirical answer. The best answers have already being given (even if they're not what the OP wants to hear).

I know what you're saying and to an extent I agree. But not everyone come for the diversity. Many come for economic / political reasons. It sometimes takes some for a generation to break out of those confines. Those that don't come for diversity probably come for economic / political reasons, and may find it comfortable to just stay in their neighborhoods and rarely interact with people outside their communities but that doesn't mean they're not appreciative to be here. I'm ok with that because I think that's what makes Houston unique from most other cities, including cities in the NE and NW which claim to be liberal and welcoming but are the least diversified cities in the country. What I find somewhat troubling is there are some who never become immersed into local culture even after several generations or those that move to a city and immediately criticize.
