I think you can expect Gate 9 traffic volume to increase significantly due to the completion of BRAC (most notably AMC and shifting all the MDA people from Wynn Drive and Bradford to VB3) and the component of Redstone Gateway that adds on base contractor office space just inside the gate.

They should increase staffing and bays in the new Gate 9 or it could get ugly(er) with that added load.

Traffic is never that bad.. Typically the guards at the gate keep traffic moving at Gate 9 and you have a good number of guards at peak times; although, the Martin Road gate in the morning is pretty bad because they only have 2 or three guards at that gate...

No, I'm saying the traffic is never that bad (from my personal experiences for the past two years) ... maybe I come to and fro off peak.

Quite possibly, 255 is mile(s) long in the evening. I drive on Old Madison Pike and I have a birds eye view of the 'parking lot' around 5.30P, you can see the car lights in the dark of winter months.

You all should have been there for the day after 9/11. At that time I lived behind the Publix on Madison Blvd. It took me over 4 hours to get to work that day. Normally it was a 10 minute drive.

All of the stands are fully occupied. 6 Lanes of throughput, instead of 3-4 lanes.
It has helped tremendously, and will continue to if they keep them open permanently.

if they go back to 3-4.
g9 is doomed.
