Mon 14Sept 11aEDT/AST Tropical Storm Vicky forms (formally TD21) northwest of Africa/Cape Verde islands. Earliest "V" storm on known record. (There is no “U” name so we jump to V).

Winds 45mph(75km/h)
Moving NW 6mph(9km/h)
Pressure 1002mb
Center about 350miles(565km) WNW of Cape Verde Islands.

Expected to basically follow Rene out to sea and fall apart later this week.
