Wed 13Sept 5aEDT/AST winds 115mph(185km/h), moving NW 6mph(9km/h), pressure 948mb. Hurricane force winds extend up to 115miles(185km) from center, TS winds 240miles(390km), likely expand more when/as transitions to extra-tropical near NE US / East Canada.
TS Warning Bermuda. NHC has added the slight bend back towards NE US some between Cape Cod and Maine in cone map then back to N & NE eventually. Overnight Euro/GFS both have slight bend back around there some. NHC with landfall near Maine/Canada border 2a Sun morning.
Steady weakening expected from here on out. That extra-tropical transition (becomes more nor-easter like loosing tropical characteristics) will result in wind spreading outward a great distance. Waves / rip currents all of US East coast.
Euro/GFS: both have wind gust 40mph or higher potentially for CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME. That's enough for potential tree/power issues. Much higher wind potential closer to coast. Rain 1+ in most areas, 2-3+in near coast, 2-4+in most of Maine / New Brunswick. Isolated heavier amounts.
Here's the 6hr rain total and surface pressure loop from the Euro00z update. Further east you are in New England the more you'll feel like there is a storm around. Western CT and NY might even have sun out while Lee is that close.
Should be like a typical NorEaster like storm. NOT a headline type one but will keep tabs on it
Oh, beach erosion in weak areas could happen, as well as flooding in low lying areas of Rhode Island, Eastern MA into Maine
Wed 13Sept 11aEDT/AST winds 115mph(185km/h), moving NNW 9mph(15km/h), pressure 948mb. No changes. Air recon just took off to check out in person so wouldn’t be surprised if winds drop some for 2 or 5p updates.

Euro00z shows the Surface Wind gusts on Saturday
30-40mph wind gusts across CT
45-55mph across Rhode Island, Eastern MA, southern half of Maine
65-80mph across the capes
Wasn’t it the Euro model- the only lone ”spaghetti” - predicting Lee’s move onto New England?
They seem very accurate to a casual observer - wonder what they do differently
Thurs 14Sept 5aEDT/AST winds 100mph(155km/h), moving N 9mph(15km/h), pressure 953mb. Center about 295miles(475km) SW of Bermuda. Hurricane force winds extend out to 105miles(165km) from center, TS winds up to 290miles(465km). Wind field reach will likely grow as transitions to extra-tropical Low but winds coming down with colder water ahead.
TS winds into Bermuda soon. NHC's forecast has 70mph storm about 220miles East of Boston about 2pm on Saturday.
You can see the front helping block / turn it on radar - that line of scattered showers near the US East coast. Models show the storm push into / that back some as near Nova Scotia / NE US region then gets kicked out to the Northeast quickly through Eastern Canada and into N Atlantic.
