More and more AMERICANS finding work once stolen by illegals. The tough illegal immigration laws implemented by the state are working.

Alabama is just one state trying to get a handle on their illegal problem, something the obama administration is bent on stopping.

Alabama Immigration Reform | Jobless Rate | Unemployment | The Daily Caller

Quote:
“The continued drop is proof that people — American Citizens [and] legal migrants, have suffered at the hands of politicians who choose politics over economics,” said Chuck Ellis, a council member in Northern Alabama’s Marshall County.

“What’s really amazing is that in Marshall County, a county of 95,000 residents, 30,000 workforce eligible, there are over 600 people who now have jobs that they didn’t have 6 months ago,” he said.
This is good news indeed.

PUSH the illegals to those states that welcome them with open arms - CALIF, NY, IL...that is the plan.

When this happens under a Democrat's watch this time of year, it's "because of Christmas".

Since it's a Republican, it just has to be because of immigration reform. Couldn't be Christmas or the nation's overall unemployment rate also shrinking.

Not at all.

That is very good news indeed. However as a proud Californian living in a beautiful town, i sure in the hell don't want them here. On the contrary my friends family and myself, want them gone.

Go Alabama. And good for them.

Are you sure this isn't because of Christmas? Perhaps you should celebrate after Christmas if this stands and the rest of the nation's unemployment rate does not get any lower.

Otherwise, this column holds no merit.

Well, I just think you're out of luck, since you're already inundated with illegals that are sucking the state dry.

According to the article, a combination of both. But as more illegals leave the state, that WILL open up jobs for desperate Americans...a good thing, right?

Or do you prefer obama's way, suing the states that have implemented tough illegal immigration policy while the fed sits there doing nothing?

Already happening in quite a few states - Alabama, Arizona, Oklahoma.

And now with SCOTUS agreeing to take the Arizona case, we will have a bit a clarity on the issue.

Jobless rates are falling in 2/3 of all states as we are slowly recovering from the Great Bush Depression.

This has nothing to do with Alabama's immigration laws.

The heat is also subsiding in Alabama in recent months. Must be because of the immigration laws. Hurricane season also ended, can we attribute this to the immigration law as well?

Correlation does not equal causation, stats 101

What was the rate before the law was passed?
