Just a quick historical correction to my post--the Normans conquered England in 1066 A.D. The destruction of the temple in Jerusalem was 70 A.D.--the beginning of the eviction of the Jews from Jerusalem by the Romans. Sorry--it was after 10:00 P.M. here in Rome and I'd spent the entire hot and muggy day rushing frantically from Roman ruin to Roman ruin. I had a brief loss of brain power.
