That isn't the case in the constuction industry that many blue collar American workers used to be able to make a living at until the illegals arrived. Same thing for restaurants, hotels, etc.

Exactly! The illegal alien sympths as you have noticed on this forum think that blue collar American workers should just move over and give those once decent paying jobs to illegals and be obligated to further their education and take jobs they may not even want to do. Unbelievable, isn't it? Many blue color workers can't afford to go to college and they already have established families to feed but they should just roll over to accomodate the illegal invaders?
The pro-illegals also try to say that American workers should go and get an "education" which will be even more difficult financially if their "Dream Act" is passed and the illegals begin hording financial aid..

But it's so much easier to blame Illegals or Hispanics, or Welfare Recipients than the people who stole 40% of the economy.

Yes...and if the people who stole 40% of the economy 'went public', and if they marched down the streets carrying signs stating that "Fraud Is OK..Greed is a Human Right..and Corruption is Good",....and if they demanded we 'forgive' their crimes because they were just 'good people who did bad things', rather than scoundrels.....then we'd probably get a lot more angry at THEM, too...even more than we presently are. But these 'slick' crooks don't do this....they hide their crimes, keep out of the 'limelight', and don't draw attention to themselves.

It isn’t hard for prices to outpace wages when the wages are constantly being depressed by illegal aliens willing to work for substantially less.
Here we go again...Americans playing the victims. Like I have said before, if you are in a situation where you are competing with an Illegal Alien for work, it's time to go back to school and get a degree.

And people say "cheap" labor. Folks on here seem to think people (illegals) work for $2/hr or may $4...heck let's say $5. Don't think so. They have their limits. If it's above minimum wage, no reason why an American shouldn't do it. But as always..."I won't work for no $8 and hour...you must be crazy!". "Me...work in Burger King? You must be out of your mind!". I hear it all the time.

Some people will always find a way to blame a group for ALL the ills of society. It's typical American culture. It's been happening since day one in this country.

"Americans playing the victim"

We are being victimized by the the very corporations that our past generations built on their backs; we are being victimized by the greedy, corrupt politicians on both sides of the political aisle, our tax dollars, sovereignty is being raped, pillaged and destroyed by illegal aliens. Contrary to what you may believe, this is not a game. We are not playing victims, we are indeed being victimized by all of the aforementioned.

Illegals OR Hispanics? Trying to blur those lines between legal and illegal again? No, we blame all of the above except for legal Hispanics.

Reality is often dramatic. Do you have a point or is sarcasm all you've got?
