Heck, I'm a 52 year old man who asks his daughters for their thoughts on stocks like LULU and ULTA - talk about businesses I don't understand lol - but both are great companies, and I'd be much more comfortable investing in either than TSLA or ARK anything.

BTW, I am currently long AAPL, BAC, BRK-B, DPZ, HD and V, and am building positions in CVS and WSM. Would love to get into AMAT and either LEN or DHI going forward.
Yeah I have AAPL and NFLX. AAPL I have had for a few years longer than NFLX, no plans to make any changes in either.

I'm not forgetting anything. I define it as longer, and will question something if I want clarification.

Adding to CRWD Crowdstrike on the 4.5% dip. This is one of my core holdings.

I have held BABA for a year as one of my long term investments, hoping for it's explosion, and I'm right back to where I started when I bought it. Ugh.

I am currently down 5% on 10 shares that I bought last july. Could be worse. At least I didn't buy at $300. Am holding nonetheless.

L seems a bit like a Berkshire copy cat - insurance and energy operations, a few other unrelated businesses, and a pile of cash. Like Berkshire, they are likely hoarding the cash and waiting for the spac and PE acquisition frenzy to subside, and for better deals to come around before getting back in the game. Like Berkshire, I wouldn’t expect them to be deploying major portions of that cash any time soon.

All of this makes me think why L when you could be buying a bigger and better BRK-B??

I had some BABA few years back. It just never seemed to find solid footing at the time I held it and I wanted to deploy that money elsewhere so I got out of BABA, around breakeven or a slight profit and didn't look back.
