Yeah so I guess your interviews were not during your work shift

Yes, they were all during the work shirt. I work in Finance, so interviews are generally done during the work day. When employers I am interviewing with know that I am currently in a job already, they are a little more understanding/flexible about scheduling, so I usually schedule interviews around lunch time or early in the morning (around 8:00am) or late in the day (i.e. 4:00pm). This allowed me to go into work a little late or leave a little early to make the appointment.

What city do you live in. Where t.v. guy and I live, Phila, traffic is a major logistic player, in keeping energy levels up and not flagging...

I am sorry, but are you comparing us to t.v. guy's put on innocense...

Meaning are we supposed to be impressed??? and please, I mean absolutely NO offense to this poster.

but i had a job interview for a D.C. fed. gov. job. after 3 weeks. And was offered an interview 2 days after sent I sent resume, interviewed with the 3 partners and hired the 5 hours later...for an appellate paralegal job.

I was interested in this poster because he said Government job and I presumed he was speaking of a "federal" governent job and just getting an interview is exceptional, not counting their 4 week background investigation, 4 week interviewing internal and external candidates.

So, it is interesting to know someone who has actually gotten a Fed. Gov. Job and the entire process.

Well, interesting to me...

hmmmm
