Many, many interviews happen after regular business hours and on weekends. How in the world do you think that someone who already has a job finds a new one?
I'm talking about when you just start a job. I did have one interview at 6pm 5 years ago but it's very RARE
I'm just going to focus on my interview I have tomorrow which is already in the salary range I prefer. And once I accept the job there is no APPLYING to other jobs because you are on a probationary period. The only thing you can do once you accept a job and start working is accept another offer but defintely not go on anymore interviews. That's why whatever decision you make is very important and it has to be a good fit
So, why not go into advertising or grant writing... I know that post recession many law firms are looking for better ways to advertise/market themselves. And of course non-profits are always in need for grant writers.
Unless you are hell bent on helping people.
good luck...but mid 30's is not good particularly in Phila.
Told me what? That I can't still job search when I start a new job? How is it possible unless it's a interview on a Saturday or in the evenings that came through a close family friend.
Actually, I've interviewed for and gotten every one of my jobs while I already had a job. All done during the work week. Amazing what you learn from people here, huh?
