Well Fundamentalist Christians know your faith better than you do. Afterall, Christianity is the "completion" of Judaism, so they know it all. Just ask them!
And Jesus was born approximately 950 years after David. So perhaps there's a small difference in the situation during their two lifetimes? Or have Fundamentalist Christians got an inside line on that, too?
Oye, bubbeleh! I'm farklempt without a schtickle of Judaism talk everyday. But on these posts we have bupkis. Be a mensch and start a kosher post. Some of these Christians are meshuggeneh! And some are downright putzes!
Oye veh!

For sure they are all xperts..........lol
Or better yet I've heard it said they are all really just Jews because Jesus was a Jew and all of his followers were Jews so they are just another denomination of Judaism....... Oy Vey

this post makes a valid (and bizarre) point
I recently found out that the groups who call themselves "messianic Jews" are sponsored by Fundamentalist Christian groups. I can't help but wonder why? Is it trying to increase membership numbers? It just seems dishonest, because they are unanimously rejected by every stream of Judaism. Christians and Jews alike are unanimous in seeing these "messianic Jews" as Christians.

They are Christians who see they are connected to Judaism and they want to "celebrate" the Jewish Jesus. So they celebrate the Jewish holidays and Christian holidays. I'm not sure what they consider themselves? Jewish but believers or Christians who have Jewish roots.....

They have the inside line on everything Jewish.....lol
