I find that schedule a little hard to believe. These corps have every incentive to get back to full operation as quickly as possible.

Its possible that many of the conventions that pulled out may re-instate their plans or reschedule them later in the year if they have solid info that the venues will be reopened by then.

IMHO the only reason so many have pulled out is because the end date for the shutdowns is completely open-ended. If they had stated from the outset that we would have a soft opening by June then many probably would have kept their plans.

Awesome, I now have a new youtube channel to subscribe to! I have been binge watching the videos on the channel today. "BOOM BUBBLE BUST REPEAT" is Katie approved and I encourage everyone to watch the videos.

As for the video, I do think the rumor could be legit. I cannot see how the casinos can reopen and be profitable under social distancing rules/laws. MGM knows what they are doing, so if the rumor is true, it just shows that their own forecast is dire.

Last night I read Caesars would reopen May 14th and I thought that's not possible cuz Casinos reopen Phase 3-4 which is a couple weeks out.

Then today I saw Caesers announce they'll reopen 3-4 properties to start but they didn't say which ones or when. It was very ambiguous.

The Venetian and the Plazzo also announced they'll reopen sometime in June. No firm date except in June.

Schedule is utter crap. Are Excalibur, Vdara, Delano and Signature staying closed forever?

Boyd Gaming also made the news for reopening plans and they were also ambiguous on who and when. Just specific on who won't likely open.

Casinos will be handing out ivermectin patches, kill (at least) 2 birds with one stone, coronavirus and bed bugs, not anytime soon, and it's just another unlikely solution, but you just never know

If this works, then it will be easily accessible and is already mass produced. One for you and another for your cattle.

Some countries Egypt and Peru I think have already had success and so has some random doctor in Florida.

Yes these aren't the clinical double blind peer reviewed studies, but they are a promising start while the trials are taking place

ETA the FDA does NOT recommend anyone taking this drug for coronavirus treatment.

Caesar's just posted a $66M loss for Q1. I doubt they will want that going on for too long.

If people can hang out at Wal-Mart all day I don't see why they can't go to a casino.

Nearly everything is already reopening down in my section of town. Some places enforcing masks and whatnot and others that seem to be ignoring the distancing rules altogether.

They still had security posted out front of the grocery store but there was zero enforcement and they were letting people out the second set of doors again.

My new go-to YouTuber is a new guy that lives here. His name is Not Leaving Las Vegas. What's good about him is that he has videos every day and goes live ALOT. Here is his take on the above video. He ain't buying it either.

Three pieces of reopening news this morning. Caesars Palace will reopen to start with one other unspecified value property on the east side of the Strip.

MGM put out their reopening health guidelines. It includes temperature checks for everyone on their properties.

CCSD issued their plans for a Phased reopening. I didn't read it since it doesn't affect me in any way.
