Davie, if anything, you should at least get tested. As you know escorts are not innocent dates, they are prostitutes. It is dangerous for you and her both. Hopefully she gets out of this life before she winds up with her throat slashed lying in a ditch. As we all know, that is the unfortunate endgame. I personally would not leave her just yet, instead try to talk some sense into her at this point. If she wants to continue in this downward destruction, then leave her, you can do better.

LVD, I certainly don't know the whole story, but I think calling the girl a prostitute is a bit harsh without knowing all the facts.

She most certainly is. I have been to many casinos in my time, and I have met quite a few girls who all called themselves "escorts." Not once have I ever had one of these girls say she was a hooker, prostitute, w h o r e, etc. It is no different then the garbage man saying he is a sanitation engineer. That may be his job title which makes him feel better about himself, but he is still a garbage man at the end of the day.

She probably knows the saying that all politicains know: Man is ice to truth!
Perhaps you made a derogatory comment, at some point, when the conversation included prostitutes, and, out of love for you and fearing she'd lose you, she knew better than to be truthful. If you were in the same situation, supplementing your income with "escorting" would you be daring enough to tell the truth?
I did this kind of "work" for years, back in the 70's, funding my way thru college, except my clientele were Gay/Bisexual men. IMO, all work is some form of prostitution, but I had a difficult time persuading anyone I was dating, during that period, that it was just a job!
Fortunately, I ended up having a couple long-term relationships with two of my clients, and I continued "escorting" even during those relationships.
Give her a break! Who knows, Davie, you may get so down on your luck some day, you may end up "escorting" as well just to keep a roof over your head! There are any number of straight men who cater to the Bisexual/Gay men and retain their sexual identity as well!
My good-looking friend, Tom, back in MN, he was married with a child, and he prostituted himself to other men to help support his family!

Davie doesn't have Richard Gere's dough...no way to play that part when you slack appropriate funds. I just can't picture the scene where Julia is dressing up and he is watching her played out at Goodwill. Although, I guess it could be done.
