Teenagers will be teenagers. Brats! The problem I have with the park is the number of trees they cut down. The whole land swap deal was supposed to be a value because of the mature landscaping. From my drive-by today, I'd say they have cut down three quarters of those trees.
For those unfamiliar with the park, it was an older, mature, golf course before the city did their thing. Now it's a skate park, a dog park, and at some point is supposed to have an open air venue for live music and such. In my opinion, they should have worked around the trees. Some of them were more than thirty years old. This valley lacks many things. SHADE is one of them.

Does anyone know what is going on at the MGM? Went by there just a little while ago, area is all blocked off. Lots of black and whites, fire rescue, ambulance, fire trucks

Are some people downtown trying to kill themselves? They just run across the streets without even bothering to look for traffic. Last evening, on Maryland Parkway, a little after 7 p.m, one kid blatantly walked across while it was green for us and while we were flying down the road plus many other cars. Then he looked startled that we almost ran him over plus the cars in the other lanes. Can they not understand the crossing signs? Or do they just want to die? Boggles the mind.
