They have half an aisle of them.

Well, since lvmensch said you can't buy them for general purpose lighting and since I have checked home depot and lowes for them and found none, I will need a pic. They may look like old style incandecents but they are LED. It's the law.

Kindly refrain from screwing up the quotes. There are as number of ways to quote and respond without turning it into a hopeless word soup.

And kindly quote me correctly. I said...

Nope. You are simply incorrect. You can manufacture specialty incandescents to your hearts content. What you cannot do is manufacture incandescents for home lighting unless they meet efficiency targets that are currently met only by halogens which happen to be a version of incandescent.
There is no mention of "sale".

those aren't illegal since they qualify as energy efficient

They're in a brown package. My whole house is now led. Electric bill is down. It's brighter in here. Everything looks better.
They don't burn out.
I can run all 68 bulbs in my house for less than 1 regular bulb.
Have you actually noticed a difference in your electric bill?

While LEDs don't burn out, they do in fact fail. I've had to replace several. The CREE brand I bought from Home Depot do fail; I contact them and they send me out a replacement. I haven't had any of the Feit LEDs from Costco fail as of yet.
