Yesterday was free slurpee day at 7-11. They do this every year on that date. Lines wrapped around the stores in all locations. A big fat hairy sticky mess trying to walk in there.

I got a free slurpee from my local 7/11 about a month ago for no reason. The night side cashier gave it to me on the house. I was happy because I always forget about free slurpee day on July 7th.

I need a mojito or two or three, lol, or a mojito slurpee.

Next day like this is 7/10. Cannabis dispensaries made it a new 420 holiday because it spells OIL backwards and upside down in a mirror. Something a stoner would notice. So people get discounted oil cartridges that day too. Busy business here in Oregon around the dispensaries that day will long lines too. People do love a deal.

Those are not real incandescents. Whenever you see "replacement for" or "equivalent" you are dealing with an LED. A19's used to be incandescent but are now LED's. No go for reptile keeping.

Here's a link to Amazon to give you and idea what a "speciality bulb costs. $30 for 3? These are no different then regular bulbs available a few years ago.

No those are incandescent. Likely gimmicked halogen. Life is only 2,000 hours. there are a number of attempts to get incandescents that will meet the efficiency requirements. They are intermediate between old incandescents and LEDs. May be warm enough for your reptiles. Sure it will come up in that area.

I appreciate your respectful reply. It's not really warmth that scaly critters need from these bulbs. There are numerous ceramic heat bulbs that emit no light at all. It's the wavelength that incandescents produce that is important. A mixture of UVA and UVB and a touch of UVC. Halogens are just not balanced enough and LED is ugly blue almost single wavelength light that plants even hate. Actually, people are recommended to not use devices with LED backlight like phones and laptops before bed as it messes with your sleep cycle.

Anyone interested in testing medications and other things for this company? They want healthy people only. Having a disease is not required or recommended. Some testing requires you to stay overnight, and sometimes longer, up to a week or two. They provide housing, meals, everything and pay you as well. I am not affiliated with them in any way. It kept coming up in Facebook, so I thought I would post it here in case anyone needs to make some good money. They pay up to the thousands in some cases.

the law doesn't discriminate against different technologies, it only set minimums on lumens per watt. modern incandescents meet the requirements.

reptile owners want tungsten coil lights, which is just a specific type of incandescent. these do not meet the lumens/watt requirement, but the law provides an exemption for special use cases such as keeping reptiles. they are still produced and readily available online for a few bucks a bulb.

don't buy reptile branded lights at reptile supply stores you'll get ripped off (plus we only have one decent reptile store here and about a dozen horribly unethical ones)

also for plants the best grow lights are LEDs but not normal kind, they come in the proper wavelength. probably for growing pot.

(i have beardies and a fish tank with live plants)

Went to the Fremont st concert tonight with Sponge, Toadies, and Fuel.
Sound system is amazing. Sound guy was on point.
Toadies were absolutely amazing. One of my favorite bands and got to get pretty close. Whole night cost me 11 bucks. 8 for parking and a couple slushies at circle K.

Las Vegas is fun and beautiful! Do people there like Californians and their money? I’ve spent thousands in Nevada!
