Snowpack is 226.77% of the May 10th average.

Sounds like a very good year.

you didn't read the fine print... you have to trade in a vehicle that qualifies (that gets you $1k off the price), you have to finance through vw finance (that gets you $2k off the price)... AND you have to be a returning VW customer owner to get the additional rebate which brings it under $14k... so you are looking at 17,500 plus dealer fees if you don't meet the 3 pieces of criteria.

Isn't that interesting. I have decided ta pursue either a 2017 Scion iM 6-speed stick or a 2017 Toyota Corolla iM 6-speed stick or, most likely, a 2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO 6-speed stick in either black or white. I am just not a VW guy - nor am I a German car lover.

Thanks for the sum-up on Strong VW of Salt Lake City. I had a feeling that that offer was too good ta be true.

to find your vehicle, you may consider CarGurus.com Great website... has reviews of dealerships.. and is very accurate.... it may be worth it to travel a bit to get the car.. I drove 100 miles to get mine in Mesquite.. well worth it...

We flew to Salt Lake City and drove back. It was worth it considering the price difference and that there was only one in LV.

CarGurus is the best website to search for your used or even new car. I use it pretty much daily. I have a 2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo 6-speed in black I'm thinking of test driving and a Spring Green 2016 Scion iM 6-speed stick to take a look at, too. The Nissan is in SLC and the Scion is in Scottsdale, AZ. I found on CarGurus a silver 2017 Toyota iM in 6-speed form with 21,XXX miles on it here locally in Alamogordo but it sold before I could even test drive it.

CarGurus rocks.

I just learned about friend NLVgal. I am in shock. I've communicated with her. Does anyone know what happened? Please send me a DM.

It's really weird when posters on city-data pass away, but, upon further reflection, it's really weird when anyone passes away. They're asleep, they're not grabbing a free ride on a rhinocerus as a flea or something. So, if you're worried that your dead loved ones or friends are in some kind of cosmicly intense pain or something, well, let that worry dissipate away.

RIP NLVgal

I don't think of them as asleep. I see them as happily frolicking in the afterlife. Young again, no pains, no worries, just free.
