Trust me LVD...I have no idea where LeBron ended up except I will bet it was not in Cleveland.

And my interest in Lohan would be confined to what she can get away with before they throw the book at her.

I have no idea what Britney Spears is up to except she used to show off a nice body.

I doubt any of this has corrupted me. And the only way I know anyone sang to LeBron is the sociopaths video.

I am much more disturbed by the though of voting for Sharron Angle because she is not Harry Reid. Talk about mind numbing...

I am not necessarily referring to you, but the majority of Americans have been brainwashed by the mass media. This is really apparant in the younger generation as in Y. As far as Reid vs. Angle, I do not think you have to worry about her becoming senator. I personally think she will win over 50% of the votes, but the government will manipulate the electronic votes to make Reid will win. At least that is what Alex Jones (the card carrying socialist) has been saying, and I agree with him.

nobody "sang" to Lebron.. they made videos trying to tempt him to sign with their city. As for LeBron being worshipped, imo, that's hardly true... Except in Miami, he is one of the most hated figures in basketball... It's not the fact that he left Cleveland, who cares? It's how he did it... And i'm going to bet he gets hurt this season.. the only game i'm going to watch is the Miami Cleveland game and they are going to knock him out...

The recent collapse was driven by a libertarian belief by generations of governmental financial types that the markets would self regulate. Greenspan is pretty open about the fact he was wrong. But he has at least every Pres and SofT since Reagan in his support group.

I would think that opening of free trade has created a problem. And that it will continue to do so for the forseeable future. What is it the American worker is selling? The American Corporation?

If you are simply workers in the world economy you will find it tough to be competitive at 5 ort 8 times the wage level.
I honestly don't think anyone believes in self-regulating markets. That term is a euphemism for "business will manipulate the market to maximize profits by making sure no one actually regulates it". In other words, leave us be and don't look over our shoulder.
As long as greed exists, no market will ever function naturally. Someone will come along and begin to break the rules so they can take advantage of any absence of oversight to maximize profits.
Only an idiot believes that business can be trusted to allow markets to function naturally. Evidently, we have quite a few of those in this country.
Markets will self-regulate the same daythat every citizen files an honest tax return.

Basically we want the government out of our lives. We favor small government. We are opposed to all these stupid wars the Republicans start. We also are opposed to all these social programs the Democrats enact. This website can explain it much more than I can.

I used to care until I realized that there is nothing the ordinary citizen can do. The two parties have a deal, when one's voted out the other is voted in and so on and so forth. I'm sure there has never been a poor politician when it comes to their bank account.

Who would want to be a politician anyway?

Unfortunately, you are right. The Republicans and Democrats are pure scum. They work with each other in tandem to put through their destructive policies.

I dont know about shadow governments and all the conspiracy junk, but I agree with LVD about Republicans and Democrats. I would love to see a viable 3rd party to vote for. Right now its like buying a car when you only have 2 options to buy from...It feels like you're just picking who you want to get screwed by.

As far as Ron Paul goes... He spoke about common sense issues. Following the constitution to protect the people and not interpreting it to suit the needs of governments. He made sense on issues of homeland security, our place in the world, and the fact that we were/are bankrupt. The sad thing is a guy like him will never get elected...he wasnt allowed in any of the big debates so only a small percentage of people had a chance to listen to him and most of the "quotes" that got any air time were taken out of context and played in a way to make him sound nuts. The sad thing is, if by some miracle a guy who thought for himself did get elected...hed never get a damn thing done in congress, because its run by people who dont want things to change.

Now that I've gotten all depressed thinking about this crap I cant control... I think I'll get drunk and watch some football just like the good ol' boys in Washington want me to
