I am a fan of blasphemous remarks. Carry on.

On an entirely different note (a positive one that is), my new career is going very well. I just got my six month review and my supervisors are very pleased with my progress. Not an easy job to learn, but it can be very rewarding if you have the proper mindset. In order to make me a well rounded employee, I was rotated to graveyards last night. Granted, I had to work a 13 hour shift and walk a total of about 6.5 miles yesterday (and this morning), but I can now take my son to hockey practice and hockey games in the afternoon which I couldn't do when working swings. My wife and I also have the same days off which has never happened as long as her and I have been together. I probably won't get much sleep, but I'd much rather have time with my family anyway.

That said, those that know me also know that I rarely come on this board and talk about myself. The purpose of this post is to show some folks how to look on the bright side of things. Many of our struggles and problems can be blessings in disguise if we are determined in our positivity. Do I want to work graves? Hell no, my 1-9PM swing shift was perfect for me, albeit not for my family. My 9PM-5AM grave shift is slightly inconvenient and uncomfortable for me, but the benefits will outweigh the so called negative aspects.

That's all I've got to say on the subject. I just couldn't bite my tongue anymore. We now return you to your regularly sceduled doom and gloom.

Glad to hear it and to read a positive post! Especially one where you put the effort in and didn't "lay" down and wither away! I was just wondering the other day, how you were doing!!!

Yep, we all face adversity in our lives. It ain't easy being in MI when hubby is in Vegas, for either of us. But, we do what we have to do and hope it was worth it! And when I am in Vegas, I will miss my kids and the grandkids. But...I have faith it will all work out for the best!

It certainly will if you are willing to put forth the effort to make it work.

Thanks to all of you who are saying the same thing I've been preaching, "attitude is all we have." It's not what happens to us, it's how we handle it.

Had to work real hard at having a good one after getting my emission check early this morning to be at the DMV afterwards. Was watching the process at Terrible's and came to the conclusion, if I could put up a blue canopy in my neighborhood and recruit two other of my girl friends, at $20 a pop, we could be pulling in $440 an hour like Terrible. Then after a 25 mile drive to the DVM, rather than get annoyed about the situation, I'm ticked at myself that I showed up without my birth certificate. But at least I now know what everyone is talking about and tomorrow's drive back should be uneventful.

I remedied the dogs tracking grey from the stones into my house by putting a foot bath of soapy water and a clean towel out by the back door. I'm discovering they need a thorough foot bath about every other day. The clean water and the towel turn filthy by then.

On the issue of religion which we shouldn't talk about, I'm surprised no one has yet addressed the issue of 9-11. In group discussions I've had, it seems every religious sect has come up with some kind of explanation that appeases them. Also kind of on the same subject, came across a super interersting show on TLC last night called "Sister Wives." Think I'm hooked from now on in. IMHO the husband should be thanking God he was fortunate enough to get one wife, let alone four, and none of the four seem to have a built-in poop detector as I do since they don't seem to notice while they work 12-13 hour days to support their 17 kids, this marvelous man they have married has enough money set aside to afford one of the spiffiest two seater cards I've ever seen that he uses to go "courting."

He is a David Koresh flavored scum. Don't watch the show. Surely you can find something else to watch; porn would have more redeeming social value.

Please. All of the suggestions for aqualung and lvd from all of you have been sound as a pound.

And you can have your opinions about God however you may want to have them. God doesn't let an innocent little kids mothers die of cancer, and a pedophile/ rapist die of old age.

But I don't think I'd have the balls to say that God isn't doing squat. That is a moronic statement of the highest degree. I would say a meaningful prayer to God and tell him you're sorry for that. How dumb can one be?

Do you think God likes conditions as they are? No, you're so smart, he doesn't. God is patient and he is waiting for each and every one of you to listen to his servants. Learn the truth. Change your life now while you have a chance to. Get baptized to show your public declaration of your dedication to God. And serve God faithfully all the way till the Great Tribulation happens upon the earth.

God will do the fighting. He will abyss Satan and the demons and those remaining on the earth will begin rebuilding it in to the paradise God intended it to be.

To blame God is blasphemy and if I were you I would humble myself immediately and tell God in prayer that you're sorry. There is still time to get the truth and to do that you must listen to the people that come to your door. Hint...the ones that have the truth are not the Mormons.

Who might they be? You know who they are. Listen to them now and humble yourself. Your future waits in the balance. The message is one of deliverance and it is a very, very positive one.

Don't believe it.

How about building a casino on the Strip that has a religious theme. You could have different casinos inside the main casino for the different religions
