Call your local politician. And keep calling. Get all your neighbors to do the same. A nuisance can be dealt with if you can raise the local pol.

If that fails you get a big crow bar and open the hood. Then disconnect the battery. After an hour or so you normally have lots of volunteers to lean on the bar for you.

Never suffer...get even.

So we got an offer from MGM Grand for three free nights from Nov through mid Feb 2013. No restrictions on the offer that I can see. I called to book a room for Dec 30 for 3 nights. The VIP services rep tells me that those dates are excluded. I tell her that my email does not show blackout dates. She tells me that the small print gives the casino the right to amend the offer. Ah ha! We don't wager enough. She offers to give us discounted rates for a non guaranteed room with a non guaranteed view. I tell her no thanks since we can get a guaranteed room with a guaranteed view through VRBO. I think these casinos are making the wrong gamble in this economy. I will be staying at the MGM Signature but I will not spend one dime in gambling, shopping, or dining at the MGM Grand.

tijlover - at Petco the other night in Coeur d'Alene ta get flea meds for our dogs and right near the front are scads of ferrets for sale. It was about 5:30PM and they really looked like a bunch of sleepyheads!
