No, not at all. I actually really like living here. My youngest will be graduating then. I will then be the only one home so I want to explore a new city.

Cool! I love adventures. This is my 13th state. Lots to see out there!

Exactly. I see water in my near future.

I've lived on both coasts (and in Puerto Rico), right on the water. There's nothing like it! I miss the sounds of the seals barking in the morning, and the sound of crashing waves. But I like the heat, which is what prompted my move to the desert. While it's nice to live on the beach, I just don't like the cooler temps. Puerto Rico was fantastic, but it rained too much for my liking.

Yes, I can see that being an issue. Perhaps my adventures will eventually bring me back here! I grew up dealing with cold temperatures and the dry heat doesn't bother me at all. I also love the sunny days.

Yeah, travel and move when and while you can.

I've lived in over 30 places in The West and only disliked one.

Now, I'm pretty much anchored to 2 homes (O.K., 3 counting a cabin). Eventually it'll be one home - and that much more time to travel.

Maybe go back to the beach for the last act. I was born by the Pacific and want to die by it. I picture a scene out of one of my favorite songs:

We can live beside the ocean
Leave the fire behind
Swim out past the breakers
Watch the world die
- Everclear, "Santa Monica"

^^^ That sounds perfect. I have always wanted to live near the water/beach/ocean.

I've lived in brutally cold climates, and tropical climates. I prefer right here. Hot and dry. Plus, 300+ days of full sun makes me REALLY happy For someone like me whose main motivation to live somewhere is the weather, I don't know why I didn't move here decades ago. 2+ years here and still loving every day. I get my ocean fix in Malibu, and that works for me...

I read about this incident in the paper and I was horrified, as both vehicles burst into flames! Thanks for the upload!
