There is one heck of a speed sting going on right now at 215 East just after Aliante.. Haven't seen this in a long time..... Davie would have taken a picture of the police cars lined up waiting for the victims...

Actually airics, they've been doing that on and off for quite a while now. I've driven by there to see 4-5 cars pulled over in a 1/4 mile stretch, every now and then they set up at Buffalo but they love to set up at Aliante and nail people coming around the curve.

thats exactly where it is.. funny thing though, my wife got nailed for speeding on Elkhorn 52 on a 35.. .went to 24hourticketpower.com the ticket was downgraded to nonmoving violation but the fine went from 190 to 205... What nonmoving violation costs 205??? Not really happy about that one.

They stake out the ramp at Durango (Northwest) and the 215 right before the 95 southbound ramp all the time.

Are talking about Elkhorn right before Buffalo? (By the middle school) People drive slowly there for a reason.

Oops that's what I meant. Buffalo is the next light. There is a cop there all the time. I used to get annoyed that everyone slowed down to 35 until I realized cops are there all the time. It's really easy to go fast right there. I'm guessing they monitor that because the school is just past Cimarron and kids cross that intersection all the time when walking home.

That's right lyra, another area to watch out for is Grand Teton just east of Durango. They set up on both sides westbound in the morning and eastbound in the afternoon, occasionally they will set up right by Saville Middle.

Okay, I know the intersection but since I rarely go up there I should be fine.
