No wind!!! I'll take rain thank you very much! I actually don't mind the occasional bit of humidity if it means we get rain.

Bring on the rain. It's monsoon season! Bring the thunder, the instant 25 degree drop in temperature, the idiots driving through the washes.

Bring the big storms, I love it!

This is the unfortunate time of year where rain is all around us, but usually not here.

If I don't have one evening where I can sit outside late at night and enjoy a good series of thunderclaps and downpours this summer, I will be very disappointed.

Chat thread rain dance in effect. Hopefully this weekend we'll get our wish, fellow rainmakers.
I'll join in! *rain dances away* It's frustrating when it looks like we are going to get rain and then you see a clear spot on the radar maps above Las Vegas. It's almost as if mother nature enjoys playing a joke on us.

I guess so! LOL! You definitely live in the right place if you hate the rain. I have always liked the rain although I don't think I would like living in a place where it rained all the time. I would not mind if we got a little more here. The wind is what I hate. But...I have had to learn to live with it here. The wind is what makes winter cold here, imo.

Wow, sounds like you are really having a tough day! I hope you get a chance to sit down sometime and relax. I find that helps when I'm having a rough day! *hugs*

Correct, that is one of the reasons I moved here. I do not like the strong winds either, but the rain is much worse. For example, let's say it rains tomorrow. It will ruin my Friday night as I can not go out. The wind would be annoying, but the rain would absolutely kill my night and I would be stuck at home.

Really? When it rains here I run outside to get the most of it! Why would you not be able to go out? Grab an umbrella/jacket and you are in business!
