This is the unfortunate time of year where rain is all around us, but usually not here.

Correct, that is one of the reasons I moved here.
I do not like the strong winds either, but the rain is much worse. For example, let's say it rains tomorrow. It will ruin my Friday night as I can not go out. The wind would be annoying, but the rain would absolutely kill my night and I would be stuck at home.

I actually don't mind the occasional bit of humidity if it means we get rain.
I do not like the strong winds either, but the rain is much worse. For example, let's say it rains tomorrow. It will ruin my Friday night as I can not go out. The wind would be annoying, but the rain would absolutely kill my night and I would be stuck at home.
