I drove out to Summerlin this morning and really noticed how yucky the air was today. We need a big rain storm!

Aqua,

I saw you a couple of hours on Rainbow at Charleston grabbing a bus. Where were you going?

I was going to the food bank at Christ the King Catholic Church on Trop and Torrey Pines. I got a couple of bags of food, and was lucky enough to get a bag of food for Ace.

No, no, no! With rain comes additional uncomfortable humidity! A 40-50MPH wind is what we need to blow it all over to UT & AZ.

Pray that it doesn't! With the heat, and since we have so much of our food transported here we will be in big trouble!

I imagine the task force will bunker down in a safe place away from all the mobs. I love Las Vegas but it will be worse than New Orleans if something bad happened here.

Pfft.....there's your wind.

Bring on the rain. It's monsoon season! Bring the thunder, the instant 25 degree drop in temperature, the idiots driving through the washes.

Bring the big storms, I love it!

This is the unfortunate time of year where rain is all around us, but usually not here.

If I don't have one evening where I can sit outside late at night and enjoy a good series of thunderclaps and downpours this summer, I will be very disappointed.

Chat thread rain dance in effect. Hopefully this weekend we'll get our wish, fellow rainmakers.

I can somewhat relate. I was a personal care attendent for disabled people for years. It is definitely a lot of work to say the least, but is very rewarding. I am sorry you are struggling right now.
