However, I may be moving to Vegas soon and all I read makes me want to turn around and stay where I'm at. It will be for a job, and I understand that is the main basis for everyone's concern. Hopefully its a safe and pretty secure position (I believe it is, else I wouldnt make the move).

But the more I read, the more it sounds like the world is ending in Vegas....cant find any jobs, high crime, tourism going away, local economy crumbling, that living in Vegas is nothing like what it seems traveling/vacationing to it, etc etc.
Gambling revenue on the strip in September increased over 20%!

Hello to all of you! I've been off the forums for a bit, I've had my sis here in town for almost a month, and a dear cousin here in town on business for 5 weeks before that so I've been real busy with them and having fun.

My friend in Victoville/Apple Valley was just recently in the hospital again with another mini-stroke, but she is OK this time, so I've spent some time up there in California as well.

So, a lot of good/busy times recently, but I do hope all of you are doing well. Now, off to the forums I go to catch up.

FINALLY...someone that knows how to keep me in line!

Hello MomMom...I was wondering where you've been (I almost began to think that even YOU bailed on Las Vegas!)

I've missed you.

Thank you my love. I've been busy, so busy in fact, I actually got TWO free buffets at Red Rock Station, lol. I missed all friends on here as well, was hoping everyone is OK.

You know I don't gamble THAT much, but jeez, with visitors in town wanting to go into the casinos to play the slots, you just can't stand around and just watch them

And no, I think you know me well enough by now that the MomMom aint' ever, ever, ever going to leave my home city.

MomMom, I was wondering what had happened to you as well. You are the first person that stood out to me on CD and I'm glad you are doing well and are o.k.
