Doesn't that really frost you what some vandels did at Red Rock? I heard on the news tonight they have leads and have collected $2400 towards the remediation costs.

Also, I must have done something politically incorrect because I posted a question as to good suggestions for where local adults could go on New Years Eve and have a nice meal, atmosphere, entertainment and dancing. I searched before I posted and no one had previously asked this question as they were all tourists or young people looking for a hot time. I'm too new in the city to know the good places and I was put in charge of planning the evening for a group of maybe 10-40 people aged 50-65. The only valid suggestion we have out on the table at this point is Ferrera's. I checked online and it might be too pricey for some and didn't seem to offer entertainment.

For you dog lovers, I kenneled my dogs for 4 days while I returned to Ohio for Thanksgiving. I was not that impressed with the facility and my dogs were less so. They came out of there acting like wild lions and now that they have been home 2 whole days now, the high maintainence one is just beginning to make eye contact with me again and have anything to do with me. What a pouter......
The red rock incident is just plain sad. I'm only 26 and even to me it seems as though every generation is growing up with less and less respect for anything but themselves.

I kenneled mine a few months back... I HIGHLY recommend Camino Al Norte Animal Hospital.. they have kennels and runs (larger).. the price was reasonable, the staff is great.. and if trouble arises, they are a vet clinic, which again I rate their vet (Dr. Johnston) as awesome.

How's everybody liking this cold weather?
Our weather is equally odd here...it has been a very mild Fall season...temps still reaching 50-60. We woke up to frost after only two nights so far. At this time of year, it is not impossible for us to normally have snow accumulating on the ground.

Aww...jjameson, your babies were either feeling betrayed by you or they were just shell-shocked by the uncomfortableness of the place you took them. Oh....that's too bad. I know you'll show them oodles and scaboodles of love and my guess is they'll start warming right back up to you very soon.

Sadly, a lot of kids dont even have respect for themselves anymore...and its getting worse, and worse, and worse. As a society we have to do a complete 180 or its going to get really ugly. Personally I think people as a whole are too stupid to change direction until we slam into the wall at 200 mph.

Meh...this type of behavior has been going on for some time now. As a kid I remember hiking up at the ski resorts seeing this kind of vandalism on rock formations.

I agree that it's terrible however...what I think is disgusting is all the attention they are getting for it. Reporting it on the news not only gives the vandals the attention they were probably seeking in the first place but it also promotes this kind of behavior for the future.
