To all my fellow CNBC watchers, today is a very sad day.

Yeah, that was quite a shock. Mark Haines was one of my favorite anchors/personalities on CNBC. He will be missed.

Agreed. I always enjoyed watching him and Erin Burnett when I get off of work in the morning. He will be greatly missed. They are going to do a tribute to his life tonight.

I'm shocked. He seemed like such an even keel guy and healthy-looking, albeit slightly overweight. Has to be a heart attack, I'm figuring, as he did not appear depressed, that's for sure.

His style will be missed.

I just wanted to say thanks everybody for taking the time to respond to all my stupid s*** I say on here and thanks for caring

I've come under a lot of stress lately as the Cosmopolitan has made major cutbacks on my hours at work (Had 40 two weeks ago, was cut to 28, had 12 last week, and was cut to ZERO) This windy weather sucks and its been killing my hours hours at work

I spoke to my pool manager yesterday and he said several new positions were being created and that he would try to work something out with me on Saturday when I go back to work.

In the mean time I am here at the CH library and have spent most of my morning in and around CH looking for 2nd PT jobs, one I can start after I move

I also found out RTC has a bus that runs almost directly from CH to the strip (with stops downtown) so that will save me quite a bit on gas (though it will cost me $65 a month for a bus pass)

I also was going through a very bad bout of homesickness for awhile which prompted me to say a lot of dumb things I have said lately so I have thought this out very carefully

Im going to stay in Vegas for one more year, and than make a decision whether or not I want to leave, if I do decide to return to Orlando I will be going to school and I will have some money saved up to cover bills and expenses upon returning until I can get a new job there
there are major cuts coming... the hotel lost 53 mil last quarter...even i'm not safe at this point... luckily about 40% of my weekends are filled with the tattooing at parties... scary times ahead...

It's little things like that about Las Vegas that bring a pang of wistful desire and a tear of joy to my eye.
