The funny thing about looking for reputable experts to disagree with Fauci, is that you really just have to look at his predictions and the actual outcomes to realize that these guys are often SWAGing.

Of course he’s been very (sometimes spectacularly) wrong here and there on Covid. Who hasn’t been? Just think back to the millions of gloved shoppers...or those frantically scrubbing down their FedEx deliveries several months ago. Some early experts said that sort of thing was essentially useless...Fauci was slow to echo them.
Probably blinded by leftward leanings/TDS - but he was pretty off target when it came to predicting a vaccine timeline or efficacy. And was very slow to condemn (and remarkably low key when he finally did so) the mass crowds at the left wing riots/protests/violence last summer as well as the covid positive and otherwise illegal immigrants now flooding the border and crowding facilities. (At other times he was very quick to condemn crowds).
He’s been mysteriously quiet on school reopening (he supports it but as a very political guy he keeps it low key now on this topic.)
Even now ‘experts’ are disagreeing with Fauci’s position on J&J.
For a while there were two rockstar lefty heroes in Covid (or so the Dem PR machine told us): Fauci and Cuomo.
Now? Well, you know...

Can you provide some examples? If Fauci isn’t an authority on the subject who is?
I seem to recall that Fauci has proclaimed at one time, masks weren't necessary, then later changed his stance. That, is plainly obvious. Later on, I believe that he was wearing two masks!!
But let me say this, as someone who has undergone OSHA training about wearing a mask...if it doesn't seal against your face, with 100% efficiency, then it doesn't work well at all. How many of the "masks" that the general public is wearing, do that??
And he’s forgetting to condemn the mass crowds in the current left-wing protests/rioting in Minneapolis over the last three nights (he has been very quick to condemn other crowds during this pandemic).
It is really no secret (to those who read multiple news sources) he’s quite partisan, loves the camera, and has been frequently wrong throughout his very long career.
So many scientists out there are eager to take over for the failing Dr. Fauci!! He’s just in it for the fame and money!!!!! They are all just waiting for him to quit and walk away before they tell the world how awful Tony handled this last year!!!
I am not an apologist for anyone, not Biden, Trump or Fauci. I do however, respectfully disagree with all the haters. If even one of you is perfect please step forward.
Everyone of the above has had every aspect of their lives (some of it directly relative to the job itself- others not) dissected and judged. I would challenge anyone who is in the position of having to make decisions for many people, that after the situation was over didn't find things they would do over. For these people, there is nothing but a magnifying glass. None of which does anyone good.
We all learn by our mistakes and so too will these people -once the situation is over. There was/is no precedent for how to handle this virus and therefore mistakes will be made.

Actually he did handle it poorly. If it wasn’t for a certain someone calling his BS we’d likely still be tied up waiting for the FDA to OK a vaccine, much less multiple vaccines.
Him calling for a halt of J&J is idiotic at least and putting others in danger of having to deal with COViD.
So is the vaccine more dangerous than the virus? Pick one.
