I agree there. Landscapers don't bother me cause I'm at work. BUT on Sat morning the cacaphony of engines has become normal. I don't hear it anymore . Now I do cause this thread made my brain take notice.

Probably why I’m all ripped up with a beach bod at 50+ years old with no gym or other regimented exercise. A body in motion stays in motion. But, to each his own.
That Sir was probably the BEST humblebrag in the history of Humblebrags. Top 10 of all time. Nicely done.

Don’t forget No Mulch installation is complete unless they use leaf blowers to clear your property after install

Based on some posts here one would think they blow the mulch down your block into your beds to install

Any recommendations on a landscaper who SPECIFICALLY uses battery operated lawn equipment? (Asking for a friend)

I don't have to hire anybody to make noise, while tending to my yard. I have my own 22HP, 44" cut lawn tractor, gas powered string trimmer, and electric leaf blower, so I can make my own noise.

What would you prefer, everybody's lawns 12" tall???

For real. When I cut my lawn I don't use scissors and a broom. I end up running my equipment longer than a crew would since I am only one guy.

Since when did doing a lawn yourself equate to no noise?

Apparently in the utopia that the OP is seeking. Yeah, I make some noise, but at least since I retired, I can do my yard work during the day, while the rest of my neighbors are at work, and I don't bother them..........

While that is indeed unfortunate, it sometimes happens. In my younger days, I worked 6 days a week, most of the time. As much as I didn't WANT to mow my lawn on Sunday, nor did I FEEL like mowing my lawn on Sunday, I pretty much had to.

In a similar vein, my starting time at work, was 6AM. That meant that I was up around 4:15AM, or so, leaving the house at 5:25. In the winter time, I frequently I had to clear the overnight snowfall from my driveway, before I left the house. I'm sure that my neighbors didn't appreciate the sound of my snowblower, at that hour, but what could I do? I had to get to work.

The only consolation to my neighbors, was if there was enough snow to require us to clear our driveways, before going to work, it also meant that the municipal plows were out, too. I live on a cul-de-sac, which would take the street plow about 15-20 minutes to clear, and that was frequently the same time I was clearing my driveway, so I "flew under the radar".
